I love finance and investing and this site peaked my interest, because it shared very valid points on economic growth not only in Canada but here in the U.S. not only that but if you are an investor you need to get as many point of views as possible to make good investment choices. Please take your time to visit this blog.

GDP Growth, Inflation, and the Yield Curve

GDP Growth: Statistics Canada reported a rise of 2.8% in GDP annualized over 2006. The latest report available indicates an increase in GDP of 0.3% in May, 2007 after remaining nearly unchanged through April. Strong increases in retail and wholesale trade were present while a drop in oil and gas exploration constrained overall growth. GDP Growth is expected to remain strong through 2007 at an estimated 2.6% and subsequent 2.7 % in 2008.

More Than WE Know

I read a fantastic post this morning written by Marilyn Suttle.  Marilyn is an expert in customer service. She co-writes the blog, LoveThemUp.com.  In her post Marilyn tells about a truly terrible day that was turned around by the positive energy exhibited by a waiter at a Big Boy restaurant.  The waiter was so sincerely happy and enthusiastic that it was contagious. Along with their chocolate malts, Marilyn and her husband got an invigorating shot of energy to take back home with them.

I loved this story because it illustrates how energy can be literally transferred from one person to another.

Eric Bloodaxe

A viking king of some renown.
clipped from www.bbc.co.uk

His name is well known, but what do we really know about Eric Bloodaxe - and how did he become a king? Gareth Williams introduces a Viking legend.

Eric Bloodaxe is probably one of the best-known names in Viking history, at least in the British Isles. The favoured son of Harald Finehair, who was credited by the Viking sagas (composed mostly in Iceland, in the 13th century) with the unification of Norway, he became king of western Norway after his father. However, when his younger brother Hakon claimed the kingship with the support of Athelstan of Wessex, Eric moved to the British Isles.

Five Ways to Create Passive Income With Little or No Money

When I learned about the concept of passive income, I immediately became excited about it. I read every book I could get my hands on about wealth, personal finance, real estate, and entrepreneurship. Most of these books were heavy on concepts, but light on specifics. With this in mind, I went to seminars and started mingling with people who were already doing it to find out how they started. Here are five suggestions from what I’ve learned.

1) Buy an investment property with no money down. Pros: inexpensive, huge asset for nothing but a signature Cons: need good credit, must choose wisely, must find tenant quickly,

How to hire the best people you've ever worked with

There are many aspects to hiring great people, and various people smarter than me have written extensively on the topic.

So I'm not going to try to be comprehensive.

But I am going to relay some lessons learned through hard experience on how to hire the best people you've ever worked with -- particularly for a startup.

I'm going to cover two key areas in this post:

Monetizing Your Web Site

I always talking about monetizing your website, there are plenty of ways to do that. You can do it through Google Adsense, clickbank and linkshare and many more I have used all those listed and had very little success. But recently I came across three great site that do what they promise the first one is Adbrite if you have heard of it great if not look it up or click on the Adbrite link I have on this page. I have earned continuously through Adbrite and it has never disappointed me, unlike Adsense. Another great way is providing news feeds which you can get from The News Room dot com. When you sign up for free you are able to mash or embed news content on your sites and you get paid for view and feeds that people read or play. I love this one because I keep finding new ways to use it and I also get my news through these clips. I have tested for a few months and the return has been great, more than I anticipated. Then this week I started using Ads-clicks tag cloud which really surprised me because I have already earned a dollar and it has only been a week. They are all free to sign up and easy to use. I am telling you, you won't regret using these services and you will love the extra income. You can find all the links on my blog. SPREAD THE WORD! Lend Money on Prosper, people-to-people lending.
