How to Start Earning Passive Income

My last post was an article from MSN, it was about stashing away money. This post is more about what to do with that money and helping you find the money to stash. What I would like to see you do is write down what you spend your money on through out the week, how often do you eat out, do you smoke, do you buy lottery tickets, your bills? Write down every transaction you have with your money, for the next two weeks. Then when you have that information break that down into wants and needs. Needs are things you really needed to get done like, paying your rent. Wants are things you really want but you don't need, I really want a Latte.
  1. Once you figure out what your spending your money on, you need to add up the wants and see what you just spent for that week.
  2. Then when you have the total start asking yourself, "Did I need this? " If the answer is "I don't need this." Cross of that want. Don't purchase anything that is a want for at least a month and see how you feel, think about what you can do with the money you are not spending.
  3. Now keep track of those wants total them up and right yourself a check and put it into a savings account preferably one that is not attached to your checking account. Make sure it is an interest baring account .
  4. That's it for today. Let's take this one step at a time, my next post will be what else you can do with that money.
