Housing Project to Help Homeless

In Santa Barbara many homeless have been assisted in such a way that can empower them to make some healthy choices to better their lives. Approximately, one year ago many homeless moved into comfortable new studio apartments. The city's Housing Authority constructed studio apartments with the goal to assist the homeless to obtain stable housing and to move up the socioeconomic ladder. While residing at the studio apartments the residents will have access to support services (substance abuse counseling, vocational training and on-site mental health care).
